Kako javlja kanadski Exclaim!, Dawid Bowie je najavio izlazak live albuma pod nazivom “Birthday Celebration – Live in NYC 1997”.
Ovo izdanje, koje će se voditi kao “neslužbeno”, najavljuje se za 26. travnja, a radi se o snimci koncerta koji je prije 14 godina održan u Njujorku prilikom proslave rođendana ovog legendarnog autora i pjevača.
Na koncertu su kao gosti nastupili današnji frontmen Foo Fightersa Dave Grohl, Billy Corgan iz Smashing Pumpkins, Lou Reed, Frank Black iz Pixiesa, frontmen grupe The Cure Robert Smith, kao i cjelokupna postava benda Sonic Youth.
